About Mission

Originally named Mission Hills Acres in 1926, Mission has a rich history dating back to the mid-1800's when it was used by settlers as part of the Santa Fe Trail. Eventually in 1938 the name was shortened to 'Mission' and the city was born. Since the mid-2000's Mission has grown tremendously as a city.  Mission offers great schools, close proximity to downtown and the Country Club Plaza as well as a bustling retail / restaurant atmosphere.
