About Westwood

Westwood is a small quiet city located on the most northeastern corner of Johnson County. It has become very popular because of it's proximity to great schools and the Country Club Plaza. Westwood was established in 1949 and is home to 1,700 residents who live in about 700 homes. The city has a total area of just 0.41 square miles. It is home to the recently renovated Woodside Village which includes high-end apartments, restaurants and retail.
